We check your location once when you clock in and once when you clock out — never all day.

Who is responsible

The data controller is your employer: the company that added you to উপস্থিত. It decides the sites, shifts and whether a selfie is required. উপস্থিত / Dcampus stores and processes the data on the employer's behalf as a data processor. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. Contact: 01731304074.

What we collect and why

• One location fix per punch (latitude, longitude, accuracy), only at the moment of clocking in or out, around shift hours, to confirm you were inside the workplace boundary. Kept while you are employed by that company; deleted on request or when you delete your account.
• Connected Wi-Fi name (SSID) and BSSID at punch time, to match the office network. Same retention as location.
• Selfie, only if your employer requires it, at punch time, to prevent proxy attendance. Deleted automatically after 60 days. No face recognition is performed.
• Device model and a device ID, so that one account works on one phone.
• App setup status (location permission, battery, autostart), so the employer sees "phone problem" rather than blaming you. Only the latest status is kept.
• Name, role, mobile number, entered by your employer.
• Clock-in and clock-out times, requests and their reasons, for payroll and disputes. Kept while the employer's account exists.

We never collect your route, your location outside punch moments, contacts, messages, call logs or photos.

Who can see it

Your employer's owner account (and anyone they share it with) sees your punches, the location point, selfies and requests. You see your own records and their evidence in the app. Our engineers may access data only to fix technical problems. We disclose data only when the law requires it.

Where it is stored

On a server in Mumbai, India. Data travels over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes.

Deletion

Employees: Me → My data → Delete account in the app. Selfies, punch locations, Wi-Fi details, name and phone number are removed immediately; clock-in and clock-out minutes remain with the employer for payroll. Companies: Rules → Delete account in the owner panel deletes everything permanently. Or call 01731304074 and we will delete within 7 days. See /delete-account.

Children

উপস্থিত is for adult employees. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone under 18.
